WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide the app:

• Mobile phone number — used to verify your identity via SMS OTP. • Display name — the name you choose to show to other members of your set. • Avatar colour — a colour preference you select for your profile. • Match activity — scores, aces and tequilas recorded during matches you participate in. • Posts and golden moments — content you choose to share within your set. • Device token — used to deliver push notifications to your device.

We do not collect your email address, precise location, or any sensitive personal information as defined by POPIA.

WHY WE COLLECT THIS INFORMATION

Your information is collected and processed for the following purposes only:

• To verify your identity and create your account. • To display your name and avatar to other members of your set. • To record match results and calculate season statistics. • To enable communication within your set via The Chatter. • To send you push notifications about matches and activity in your set (if you enable them).

We do not use your information for marketing, advertising, or any purpose beyond the core functionality of the app.

WHO CAN SEE YOUR INFORMATION

The Net Set is a private, invite-only platform. Your information is visible only to members of the sets you belong to. No information is publicly accessible. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties for their own purposes.

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase, operated by Google LLC. By using the app you consent to this transfer and storage of your personal information. Google Firebase is certified under internationally recognised security standards.

DATA RETENTION

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your personal information — including your name, phone number, match history, posts and golden moments — will be permanently deleted within 24 hours. This deletion is irreversible.
